Riga-Rostock joint symposium
Almost every year, Riga Stradins University in collaboration with University of Rostock organise oral and maxillofacial surgery symposium. Surgeons from countries like Norway, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania and other visit symposium to present their research work, treatment of complicated cases or discuss the newest trends in the OAM surgery.

10th Congress of Baltic Association for Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery and 16th Joint Symposium of Riga – Rostock. More than 30 abstracts were accepted for the presentation in the symposium. This year congress was organised together with Baltic Association for Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery. Many invited speakers presented new technologies emerging in the field, starting from various 3D planning approaches in reconstruction after oncology, educational advances for students in maxillofacial surgery as well as approach in reconstruction in severe bone loss.
Riga-Rostock 15th Joint Symposium was held in University of Rostock, Germany in 2019. Riga-Rostock 14th Joint Symposium was held in Riga Stradins University, Latvia. More than 40 abstracts were accepted for the presentation in the symposium.
